Artisian Pizza & Flatbreads


This in-person course will be held at: Patisserie Florentine, 242 Closter Dock Rd, Closter, NJ 07624

Create your own pizza from scratch!  Students will learn how to mix, ferment, fold, and shape pizza dough as well as how to prepare toppings, plus the secrets of amazing pizza sauce. You will bake Neopolitan, Roman, NYC and Detroit-style pizzas in the 600 F oven (safety first!).  We’ll discuss different types of flour and flour applications. Organic, non-bleached flour will be used.  Kitchen health and safety practices will be introduced during the first class, and practiced throughout.  (For 3rd-5th grade students)
