Small Plates and Appetizers Grades 5 – 8 runs from 1PM – 4PM

This course will be dedicated to the skills building of appetizer and tapas style cuisine. With fresh ingredients like high quality meats and professional guidance you will be able to produce industry-level cuisine in class!  Focusing on hors d'oeuvres, small bites, tapas, and apps you’ll get an insight into these customer favorites. Next, we’ll head to the Southwest to explore Tex Mex and Latin Cuisine. Prepare dishes such as arroz con pollo and street tacos!  We’ll learn to make authentic dips, including pico de gallo and guacamole.
