Hand Made at Home: Scratch Kitchen! & Tex Mex and Latin Cuisine


Come and  learn the art and science behind combining specific recipe ingredients to make delicious dishes from scratch!  Know how to make fresh pasta by hand? How about your favorite dish?  In this course we will learn tips, tricks, and fundamentals to turn you into a made-from-scratch aficionado. We’ll share, produce and execute delicious recipes, plus practice skills to make several types of handmade starch items. Next, we’ll head to the Southwest to explore Tex Mex and Latin Cuisine. Prepare dishes such as arroz con pollo and street tacos!  We’ll learn to make authentic dips, including pico de gallo and guacamole.  (For 9th-12th grade students. This Course has In-Person and Online Classes Available.  Online course fee does not include anticipated materials costs of $50)
