CC-599 | AutoCAD 3D Drawing and Modeling

AutoCAD® is computer-aided design (CAD) software. This industry-specific software is used by architects, engineers, and construction professionals. They rely on AutoCAD® to create precise 2D and 3D drawings for architectural, mechanical, and engineering design projects. The AutoCAD® Intensive course includes three modules and totals forty hours of training.

Module Three: The last module, at sixteen hours, provides an overview of AutoCAD® 3D Fundamentals and Sketchup. This section of the course focuses on creating images with modeling and realistic three-dimensional renderings using software tools including:

  • UCS (User Coordinate System), Control perspective views
  • Learn rendering with commands in AutoCAD
  • Create images with modeling tools in Sketchup

Textbooks, materials, ID card and exam fees are not included, course texts are located in the college library for student use.

Prerequisites: AutoCAD Level I (CC-407), AutoCAD Level II (CC-422)
