College Credits: 11 college credits can be earned for students that enroll in a degree seeking program.
The Certificate in Construction Document Technologist & Field Specialist educates attendees to function in a support role to project architects, construction managers, engineers, utilities contractors, contract administrators, material suppliers, building maintenance, and manufacturers’ representatives. This program includes opportunities to earn two recognized industry credentials.
Individuals who successfully complete this program can advance the project team with their ability to read, create, and understand construction documents, specifications, verify and document field conditions, contract requirements, change orders, review shop drawings, submittals and track projects through their final punch-list, closeout and study ethics best practices. Assistance with Resume, job searches, and interviewing skills are included. Exam fees, and textbooks are not included in tuition cost.
