This course provides a broad overview of fundamental and applied concepts of energy in the overall context of the modern built environment and includes:
- Mechanical and electrical fundamentals to analyze the built environment
- Energy flows and balances
- Review case studies in detail
- Attendees apply principles and complete design problems A detailed example of Weather Bin Modeling along with a financial analysis will be presented with students participating in making a working energy savings model as a final class project.
