HH-266 | Medical Terminology

This 40-hour course is designed to provide a foundation for all health professional programs. Students will learn the universal language of medicine by identifying root words, prefixes, and suffixes commonly used in the healthcare industry. Proper use of medical terms provides effective communication related to client care in the workplace. Terms, abbreviations, anatomy and physiology, therapeutic procedures, and pharmacology terms will be presented in detail during this course. Books are not included in the tuition.
