Certified Production Technicians use technology to set-up, test, and adjust advanced manufacturing machinery or equipment. It is up to technicians to stay on schedule, anticipate maintenance needs, and work quickly to resolve issues that may impede productivity. Advanced manufacturing employers hire our students as machinists and maintenance technicians. A Certified Production Technician has an average earning potential for salary in the United States of $36,000 per year, depending on experience, certifications, and job performance.
