Please allow 30 days to complete the required entrance exam, all necessary paperwork, medical physical, vaccine, background check, and fingerprinting required for this course. For this reason, the cancellation/refund window for this course is 30 days prior to class start.  All students must pass the entrance exam prior to class start. This 90-hour lecture, laboratory, and the clinical program prepares the student to care for residents in long term care, sub-acute rehabilitation facilities, and some hospitals. This course is approved by the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and complies with regulations and standards of the Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP). The program requires 50 hours of lecture/laboratory and 40 hours of clinical rotation in a long term care facility (Clinical Rotations will start in the facility at 7:30 am). After successful completion of this course, the student is eligible to take the NJ Certified Nursing Assistant Examinations (skills test and computer written examination). Tuition includes use of books during the course and uniform vouchers. Certification/testing fees are not included.
