This mini course explores the history of Six Sigma, Six Sigma terminology, core concepts of Six Sigma, and the Statistical Basis of Six Sigma.  Students learn about belt colors, project teams, the Six Sigma toolbox, and the benefits of Six Sigma.  The ASQ (American Society for Quality) Six Sigma BOK (Body of Knowledge) is reviewed as well as the requirements for taking the ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt Examinations.

CP-389 Basic Principles of Accounting

This preliminary course explains the concepts of basic principles of financial statements, transactions, recording, and posting a general ledger. This course is a prerequisite that teaches the accounting basics that are necessary to move onto the Quickbooks User and ProAdvisor Certification course.

SD-065 | Office Assistant with Electronic Records Management

This course prepares students for work in the office environment with a focus on communication skills training, customer service for the office professional, keyboarding for data-entry, document processing and prepares students to earn the Electronic Records Management Credential from AIIM. This is a career preparation course for those interested in office clerk and office assistant positions and includes a document management overview with hands on training. The imbedded material from AIIM provides students the opportunity to earn an industry-valued credential, ERM.
