CD-206 | Fabric Studies

Students will learn about the different kinds of fibers, their properties and characteristics, wovens, non-wovens, stretch wovens and knits, basic fabric finishes; and the best end uses for the different fabrics. They will learn how to select the right fabric for a sewing project including, proper handling, pinning, cutting, sewing, pressing techniques, and care of garment, that will yield the desired results.
