CD-062 | Construction Official

The 45-hour Construction Official course is divided into four main areas: Administration, Legal Methods of Code Enforcement, Legislation, and Sub Code. Building code officials or inspectors visit and confirm that existing or new structures are safe, and that they are in compliance with federal and local codes, contractual specifications, and zoning laws. This course provides a comprehensive review of the regulations that comprise the Uniform Construction Code, and how those regulations apply to the duties and responsibilities to the daily operations of a code enforcement officer.
