Plumbing inspectors examine and test new or existing plumbing systems in buildings to make sure they are installed properly and comply with federal, state, and local code requirements. This course satisfies the education requirement for licensure as a Plumbing Inspector I.C.S and covers systems design, inspection methods and public health requirements consistent with the regulations of the Uniform Construction Code related to plumbing.
Total Program Hours:: 120 hours, 30 class sessions
Prerequisites: Knowledge of Plumbing Codes and experience in the field
Required textbook: 2021 National Standard Plumbing Code
This class meets twice a week, Wednesday 6 PM – 9 PM and Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM.
Students can choose and register for either online or in-person Plumbing Inspector ICS course.
