CD-227 | Plumbing Inspector HHS (High Rise and Hazardous Structures)

Plumbing inspectors examine and test plumbing systems in buildings to make sure they meet federal, state, and local code requirements. The Plumbing Inspector High-rise and Hazardous Structures (HHS) course covers systems design, inspection methods, and public health requirements consistent with the regulations of the Uniform Construction Code related to plumbing. The course is designed to provide the student with the fundamental knowledge and educational experience required for the state licensure under this title. Textbooks, materials, ID card and exam fees are not included, course texts are located in the college library for student use.

Prerequisites: Plumbing Inspector ICS – Industrial and Commercial Structures (CD-065)

Total Program Hours: 60 hours

Required Textbook: 2021 National Standard Plumbing Code, New Jersey Edition, NJ Uniform Construction Code (Available at the DCA Website)

This class meets twice a week, Wednesday 6 PM – 9 PM,  and Saturday 9 AM – 1 PM.
