The Fire Protection Inspector ICS course is a 120-hour New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA)-approved training program designed for individuals seeking licensure as a Fire Protection Inspector for Industrial and Commercial Structures (ICS) under New Jersey’s Uniform Construction Code. Students learn how to evaluate fire protection systems, review plans, inspect life safety features, and apply code requirements in commercial and industrial buildings. Successful completion satisfies the educational requirement for Fire Protection Inspector ICS licensure and prepares students for the New Jersey DCA licensing examination.

Students who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion documenting successful completion of a DCA-approved educational program.
This course also provides preparation for the NJ DCA Fire Protection Inspector ICS Licensing Examination. Examination fees are not included with course registration.
