CD-165 | Methods and Materials in Construction

This course introduces and discusses the construction process and its role in architecture and design. The course discusses major building component systems and methods. Structural theory is also explored. Additional lab hours are required to complete project work. Course attendees must sign-in attendance roster during lab work sessions and attend all class sessions in order to receive a certificate of completion. Lab schedule released after the course begins. Textbooks, materials, ID card and exam fees are not included, course texts are located in the college library for student use.

Prerequisites: Drafting I (CD-163) 

Total Program Hours: 60 Hours
