This course is an introduction to construction estimating basics, gain an understanding of:

  • Material take-offs
  • Computations
  • Pricing
  • Labor requirements
  • Detailed cost factors
  • Project estimating information

Textbooks, materials, ID card and exam fees are not included, course texts are located in the college library for student use.

Prerequisites: Basic to Intermediate Blueprint Reading (CD-405) or field experience and placement test score of 80 or above or instructor permission
