CC-422 | AutoCAD Level II

AutoCAD® is computer-aided design (CAD) software. This industry-specific software is used by architects, engineers, and construction professionals. They rely on AutoCAD® to create precise 2D and 3D drawings for architectural, mechanical, and engineering design projects. The AutoCAD® Intensive course includes three modules and totals forty hours of training.

Module Two: The next module continues the working knowledge of essential AutoCAD® drafting tools for an additional twelve hours. Students will build on the basic digital drafting through hands-on exercises and use more advanced commands and tools. After this portion of the course, students can use functions such as:

  • Annotating
  • Working with blocks and symbols
  • Learn more in-depth details of layer functions
  • Explore layout styles, printing, plotting and publishing

Textbooks, materials, ID card and exam fees are not included, course texts are located in the college library for student use.

Prerequisites: AutoCAD Level I (CC-407) or instructor permission if you have equivalent experience
