This course is designed for Interior Design students who want to strengthen their 2D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) skills using AutoCAD. Taught by an experienced AutoCAD professional, the course emphasizes essential drafting techniques and dimensioning standards critical to interior design practice. Through guided, hands-on instruction, students learn to navigate the AutoCAD interface, apply core commands with confidence, and produce accurate technical drawings. By the end of the course, students will be able to create fully detailed floor plans, elevations, and precisely dimensioned drawings suitable for professional design presentations. Topics include:
- Core AutoCAD commands and their applications
- Advanced editing operations to increase productivity
- Creating accurate multiview drawings
- Developing and managing drawing libraries
- Plotting, printing, and preparing professional drawing sets
Textbooks, materials, ID card and exam fees are not included.
Prerequisites: CD-338 I Basic Drafting
