Learn the principles of art and design that have been developed throughout history and are key to successful interior design practice. This course includes lecture, discussion and preparation of a “personal styles research portfolio.”

Sessions include:

  • Understanding the design process
  • Elements of design
  • Design concepts
  • Understanding design drawings
  • Introduction to basic styles in residential interiors
