The Building Inspector course is for High Rise and Hazardous Structures (HHS). This course covers topics such as structural systems; design and analysis; fire protection and safety systems; special use of occupancy; advanced mechanical systems; design principles for heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems; energy conservation and other related topics. It provides students with the fundamental knowledge and educational experience required by the state for licensure under this title. The course can only be taken after you complete Building Inspector Residential and Commercial Structures (RCS) and Industrial and Commercial Structures (ICS). Textbooks, materials, ID card and exam fees are not included, course texts are located in the college library for student use.
Prerequisites: Building Inspector RCS – Residential Commercial Structures (CD-075), Building Inspector ICS – Industrial and Commercial Structures (CD-225)
