A property manager’s goal is to make the property run as efficiently and profitably as possible on behalf of its owner. Our Residential Property Management Certificate Program is designed for individuals interested in the management of the townhouse and condominium complexes, Adult 55+/Senior residences, and other residential planned communities. Students learn fundamental financial management skills, gaining an understanding of insurance, safety, security and risk management issues. Additionally, the ins-and-outs of managing special facilities such as community swimming pools and clubhouses are covered. Participants acquire effective customer service and communication skills to foster mutually beneficial relationships with Boards/Volunteer community leaders, tenants and/or community members.

The New Jersey Real Estate Commission mandates that all real estate licensees complete 12 continuing education credit hours every two years to maintain their license. The Bergen Community College Continuing Education CEU Course meets all NJ State requirements.

The Mortgage Loan Officer Training Program is a comprehensive 120-hour training program designed to give you the skills and licenses needed to enter the mortgage banking workforce. Training topics include: mortgage basics and terminology, NMLS required federal and state training (NJ), customer qualifications and credit analysis, lending guidelines and procedures, the mortgage process (prequalification to post-closing), upon completion of the course and satisfactory test results, students will be eligible to receive NJ Mortgage Loan Originators License.
